Synopsis
The promontory is one of these areas, through which one passes through in order to arrive elsewhere. Wedged between Cologne and Bonn, seemingly interchangeable. For people living there, however, the promontory is the middle of the world. Their lives are not necessarly uncomplicated: Hans Wilhelm has tried, as a priest, to reconcile two neighboring villages that have been in conflict for centuries... Alexandra Sells accompanies the protagonists for a year and draws a very personal portrait of a region, which only at first glance seems inconspicuous.
